I think that the story of Johnny Tremain worked much better than the videos because we can follow along while being read to us and we get it two times better. With the video, we could goof off and talk more. With the book Johnny Tremain we got to read a story for a while and keep track of what is happening without jumping through different points of views. With the text book, it just isn't a very interesting way of learning but if you have it read to you than you can kind of relax a little and just follow along.
Things I learned that were interesting were that when the Tea Party happened, it wasn't a Tea Party,20 men dressed up as Indians and talked like indians and then threw all the tea overboard. In the textbook it didn't even mention any of this.
The book Johnny Tremain helped me learn about the Intolerable Acts the most because i liked the book and it caught my attention the most. I think that the book really spoke to me and that helped me understand what it was saying.
