Langely 2/9/10

I am at joe's music right now

Buildings within fifty steps of joe's.
> Island thrift 114 anthes street
> Act 2 111 anthes street
> Antique shop 105 anthes street
> Mikes place 219 1st street

So there is not much to say about today, it is very cold and i have no jacket. it is very warm in Joes music, so I decided to step into it. Joes is my favorite store in Langley by far because of its music and the Awesome guitars. A man just walked out of a room and he was carrying a guitar, i asked him if i could hold it, it was a modifighed version of a Jazz-master, my forth favorite guitar. He said that he orderd the body from a place in downtown Everett called USA Custom Guitars, it was beautiful.

Rob the owner had just purchased a Richen-backer guitar that is from 1932. that kind of guitar and that year is arguably the first kind of electric guitar ever made. un- fortunately it had gone through a house flood and sat under water for a great period of time, but he fixed it and is now putting strings on it.

Now I am sitting outside, it is very cold and very few people are walking by. they are all in their cars.

Lewis and Clark

Lewis and Clark were two men that lived in Kentucky. They were called by Tomas Jefferson too explore the new land that the government bought, (The Louisiana purchase).
It was 1803 when they started their journey across a strip of land about one half the size of the state that is now called Washington.

The louisiana purchase was an unknown territory for Lewis and Clark at the time, so they found a Native named sacagewea to guide them across the land.the land was populated with 700 people that were ussualy of the catahulu tribe. This land was also inhabited by horses birds lizards and alot more creatures. Lewis and Clark thought this land was very cold but in some places filled with resorces like food and water. The kinds of foods that Lewis and Clark were fish and some beef such as cattle, deer, elk, rabbit and squirell.

There are alot of ways that Lewis and Clark have effected our lives today, they have explored new land for the early americans and met the indians of the cataholo tribe letting them see some of the first white people. They learned new ways of living and cooking for Americans.
Lewis and Clark have effected us in many ways in the future some good and some bad.
